HIV & sexual health resources
Living with HIV:
For trans people living with HIV, i-Base is a great source of information on treatment, drug interactions and how stay well.
Information about Sexual Health for the Trans Community:
The Terrence Higgins Trust have published booklets & webpages on trans sexual health for both Trans Women & Trans Men, which are also non-binary inclusive.
Gendered Intelligence have also published a booklet on sexual health for young trans and non-binary people, which can be downloaded here.
Accessing healthcare
Bridging Prescriptions:
– Not a Phase have a helpful page about accessing bridging prescriptions. Bridging prescriptions are temporary prescriptions of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), issued by a GP to a patient awaiting specialist treatment at a gender dysphoria clinic (GDC).
– Mermaids UK also has a guide on accessing bridging prescriptions.
Accessing Healthcare in the UK
TransActual have a number of downloadable resources about how to seek healthcare as a trans or nonbinary person in the UK, for example:

Wellbeing and mental health
Mindline Trans+ is an emotional and mental health support line for anyone identifying as trans, non-binary or gender variant, and their families, friends, colleagues and carers.

Questioning your identity and coming out
If you are just beginning to explore your gender identity or are still questioning, that’s okay! You are not alone. Here are some pages we think might be helpful:
– Understanding Gender Identity & Pronouns by The Trevor Project
– I think I might be transgender by Advocates for Youth, but contains information relevant to all ages.
Here are some pages which might help you in coming out to others about your identity. However, please remember that you are still just as trans/non-binary/gender-diverse whether or not you come out to others!
– A coming out guide for young trans and non-binary people in the UK, by LGBT Youth Scotland. It also contains additional information for people who are questioning.
– A coming out guide for LGBTIQ+ people, which is inclusive to adults, for coming out to coworkers, friends, teachers and family, by Scarleteen
– TransHub (Australia) also has a brief page with advice on coming out in writing, such as text or email.

Housing Access & Advice
Our partner, The Outside Project, provide shelter for LGBTIQ+ people who have become homeless whilst living in London.

Stonewall Housing provide specialist housing advice, advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
